Understanding how code works is a great benefit for designers, because you can understand the language of developers and technical problems that arise with designing digital products. I feel the most comfortable in the web frontend with technologies like Vue, Nuxt and React, but also know my way around the backend with JS, PHP & (No-)SQL.

Shaping physical products and creating new sensations
Developing a physical product is not easy by just sitting on your drawing board. To see what works and what does not, you have to get your hands on hardware and build prototypes. As I am not just a designer – but also a maker who enjoys tinkering in different fields –, I can plan and prototype in CAD, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and build stuff in a workshop.
