Design im Zeughaus: A Hub for Innovation in Munich's Design Education

The Faculty of Design at the Munich University of Applied Sciences is the largest state institution for academic design research and education in Munich. With its predecessor institutions, the design education at the faculty can look back on a history of over a hundred years. Since moving into the historic Zeughaus building in October 2018, all degree programs and specializations of the faculty have been united under one roof for the first time, thereby gaining a stronger presence in the city.

As a student worker and later as a freelancer, I was responsible for assisting in the design and production of communication materials in both print and digital formats. I was involved in web design and development of microsites and blogs to facilitate effective communication. A significant part of that role was working closely with the dean of Faculity 12. This collaboration ensured that all communication materials aligned with the faculty's vision and objectives, maintaining consistency in messaging across various platforms. Additionally, I was responsible for print design and the production of physical materials such as flyers, stickers, and room allocation plans.
